The 11 Most Powerful Members of Superman's Family

Kryptonians are some of the most powerful beings on the planet, hence the idea a whole family of them is very scary. while Superman often considered the strongest Kryptonian around, his family members are no exception.

The Super-Family has grown in recent years, and each new member seems to be stronger than the last. From classic members like Superboy and Power Girl, to members we've rarely heard of like Ronan Kent, or even new additions like Osul-Ra, each member is quite powerful in its own right and there is every reason to be in the family. That said, despite their shared Kryptonian heritage, they are not all equal in power. Some members of the family will simply always excel.

11 Jor-El

Superman #53 by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster

Jor-El was the patriarch of the original Super Family, but he never had the same level of powers as Superman. since Jor-El hardly ever left Kryptonhe never experienced the powers that Superman was used to. Although he is a brilliant scientist who discovered the Phantom Zone and created rockets capable of traveling the galaxy, he is not really that powerful and rarely described as a physical threat.

The only time Jor-El was able to show his potential was when he played Mr. Oz. But even as a villain, Superman's father really wasn't that intimidating. Jor-El was only ever Dr. Manhattan's pawnand apart from completely changing his relationship with Clark's son John, Jor-El is easily the weakest member of the Super Family and the one rarely depicted with powers.

10 Mon-El

Superboy #89 by Robert Bernstein and George Papp

Mon-El met Superman when he was very young and still went by Superboy. The pair quickly became friends as Superman thought he had finally found another Kryptonian he could bond with. Unfortunately, that wasn't exactly true. Although Mon-El has similar powers to Superboy, he is not actually a Kryptonian, but is instead a genetic offshoot known as a Daxamite.

This weakness makes Mon-El one of the weakest members of the Super Family due to the abundance of lead on earth.

Daxamites have the same powers and biological advantages as Kryptonians. except they're deathly allergic to lead instead of kryptonite. This weakness makes Mon-El one of the weakest members of the Super Family due to the abundance of lead on Earth. But if he gets away from it, it's still strong enough. A later version of Mon-El was introduced Superman Reinvented by Brian Michael Bendis, Ivan Reis, Oclair Albert, Joe Prado, Alex Sinclair, and Wes Abbott #14 as a Human-Kryptonian hybrid, but the most popular version is Daxamite.

9 Ronan Kent

Future State: Superman – House of El #1 Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Scott Godlewski, Gabe Eltaeb and Troy Peteri

Ronan Kent is the Superman of the 30th century, a descendant of Superman, the leader of House El. He continues to support Superman's ideals as far into the future as he can. When it comes to power, Ronan has the same abilities as his ancestors and what people expect from a Kryptonian on Earth: superhuman strength, speed, heat vision and everything else.

He had the potential to be a great character

But unfortunately, since then Future State The events and timelines weren't really followed by DC, Ronan never got a chance to shine. He had the potential to be a great character, but as DC took their stories in a different direction, Ronan was left behind and hasn't been able to prove the limits of his power since. With luck, Ronan could be as powerful as his ancestor Clarke.

8 The Huntsman Prince

Justice League #26 Bryan Hitch, Fernando Pasarin, Oclair Albert, Brad Anderson, Jimmy Betancourt and Richard Starkings

Wonder Woman and Superman are two of the most powerful beings on earth, so naturally many people are wondering what the outcome will be.f they had a child together. This was partially answered by the presence of the Huntress Prince. Hunter was Wonder Woman's son from an alternate timeline. In this timeline, Wonder Woman has given up on Hunter for being the chosen avatar of Darkness.

Wanting to make sure he was raised properly and lovingly, Diana gave Hunter to Lois and Clark Kent, who raised the boy as their own. When it comes to powers, Hunter is as strong as his mother and shares the same abilities. While that doesn't put him on the level of a normal Kryptonian, it does put him pretty close to one.

7 Otho-Ra

Action comics #1038 Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Miguel Mendonca, Adriano Lucas and Dave Sharpe

The Superman family is large in part because they embrace so many children as part of the family, including Chris Kent, Jon Kent, and the Super-Twins, Osul-Ra and Otho-Ra. Otho was a child trapped on Warworld and is not technically a Kryptonian. Instead, he is a young Felosian, a genetic offshoot of the Kryptonians. As such, he has all the powers expected of a Kryptonian, but also a few extra powers. Otho has all the expected powers like super strength, speed, flight and heat vision.

He also possesses Genesis Energy Harvesting and Energy Manipulation, which allows him to use powers such as Optical Blasts, allowing him to burn his energy from any point on his body. He can also create force fields and even summon energy constructs to obey his every command. Although still young, these powers put him slightly above the average Kryptonian.

6 Osul-Ra

Action comics #1038 Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Miguel Mendonca, Adriano Lucas and Dave Sharpe

Osul, the other half of the Super Twins, isn't nearly as fiery and direct as Otho, but that belies the actual powers at his command. Like her sister, Osul is a Phaelosian and has the same powers as a Kryptonian, such as superhuman speed, invulnerability, superhearing, and superbreath. But his powers go further than that: she can create optical blasts from all over her body like her sister, but is also able to summon Olgru.

Olgrun is an Old God and one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe. The phantom that Osul summoned was only a fraction of Olgru's power, but even a tiny fraction of that power was enough to overwhelm Desaad. Although Desaad is not a warrior, he is a new God and Osul defeated him easily.

5 Rowan Kent

Future State: Superman – House of El #1 Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Scott Godlewski, Gabe Eltaeb and Troy Peteri

And greetings from the forsaken Future State timeline, Rowan Kent is Ronan Kent's sister. Although Ronan never demonstrated her powers, Rowan didn't need her powers to make an impression. Rowan has the same powers as a Kryptonian, making him incredibly powerful compared to other creatures, but on top of that, he also has a Blue Lantern Ring.

This extra power boost means that Rowan is not only nearly impossible to hurt due to his physical invulnerability, absurd speed and strength, but also augments his natural powers with the Lantern Ring, such as creating a shield to protect him from attacks. It's a real shame readers don't get to see more of him because Lantern Kryptonians like Yellow Lantern Superman are always pretty powerful.

4 Conner Kent / Con-El

The Adventures of Superman #500, “First Sight…” by Carl Kessel, Tom Grummett, Doug Hazlewood, Glenn Whitmore, and Albert De Guzman.

Conner Kent is the strange “love child” of Superman and Lex Luthor, as he was created as a clone using the DNA of the two. So Conner has all the powers expected of a Kryptonian, but with a surprising number of extras. Conner's Tactile Telekinesis power in particular makes him a major threat, allowing him to dismantle complex mechanisms with just a touch, create a barrier around his body or elsewhere, and manipulate objects without touching them.

These barriers Conner creates can even deflect kryptonite bullets, giving him a huge advantage over other Kryptonians. He can also unleash a burst of raw concussive force from his telekinetic powers. Combine all of this with his Kryptonian abilities, such as heat vision, and Conner is a major powerhouse.

3 Jon Kent

Convergence: Superman #2 Dan Jurgens, Norm Rapmund, Brad Anderson and Sal Cipriano

Jon Kent is the human/kryptonian hybrid child of Lois Lane and Clark Kent. Even after reaching his teenage years, Jon is still young, but he has become an incredibly powerful hero even in his young adulthood. Batman points out that John's hybrid DNA gives him the potential to be more powerful than any pure-blood Kryptonian, and his extra powers prove this to be true. Jon has the ability to transmit energy, which allows him to manipulate solar energy stored within him.

This power usually causes him to crackle with blue energy and allows him to release powerful electrical blasts, especially after powering up. Lazarus planet event. He also co-starred in Doomsday, Darkseid, Ares, Nero, and several others. Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths By Joshua Williamson and Daniel Sampere. Although Jon didn't win this fight, he did survive for a few minutes, which is more than anyone can claim.

2 Black Zor-El

Action comics #252 by Otto Binder and Al Plastino

Supergirl, Superman's cousin, has the same powers as Superman, but she has shown several endurances that even Superman can't. during the events Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow By Tom King and Bilquis Evely, Kara is trapped on a planet with a Kryptonite-fueled sun. This planet was originally created to kill her cousin, and Kara stated that Clark could barely last an hour on this planet. Meanwhile, Kara lasted for more than a few hours until sunset.

This survival is a great feat and one Clark could never recreate. All in all, Kara is one of the strongest Kryptonians in the world and has been able to help her cousin constantly with bigger enemies over the years.

1 Superman / Clark Kent / Kal-El

Action comics #1 by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster

Of every Kryptonian, no one has the same strength and raw power as Superman. He's crossed entire galaxies in seconds, knocked out Gods with one punch, and survived everything the DC Universe has thrown at him. A man regularly keeps black holes in his palm. Once he held up the Book of Eternity, which contained all possible knowledge, and if that wasn't impressive enough, he once held all of reality for a few hours.

Superman is arguably DC's most powerful Kryptonian. While others may be stronger in one or two areas or have powerful abilities that he doesn't have, no one is stronger than him in terms of achievements. Superman.
