How have Orc Heritages changed in the Pathfinder 2e shake-up?

Coming from different places and tribes, goblins have a few different heritage options for you to consider and choose from. From snow goblins to charhide goblins, you will have some fun, diverse options in front of you. Choosing the best one will probably be a very subjective decision in the end, since each heritage provides you with both some useful abilities and nice roleplay potential.

5 Snow Goblin

You’re used to harsh conditions and icy, non-hospitable terrain. Your skin color fits with the theme of your surroundings, ranging between different shades of blue. If you’re preparing for a specific icy adventure, and you want your character to know the snowy roads you might trudge, the snow goblin is a great option.

You’ve adjusted to the cold weather of your home by growing fur, so you can deal with frigid winds and snowstorms better than most. You’ll find it easier to resist the worst of winters, and even if you find yourself in extreme situations, you’ll be able to withstand a lot more than even the most experienced of adventurers.

4 Razortooth Goblin

This heritage gives you a lot of freedom when it comes to deciding who your character is and where they come from. Are you from a clan of goblin warriors who pride themselves on how sharp their teeth are, or are you just a nice, peaceful, city goblin with razor sharp teeth there just to provide an interesting, unexpected twist? Your imagination is the only limit.

Play as a delightful plant person with Pathfinder 2e Remastered’s Leshy heritages.

While razortooth goblins come with a lot of nice roleplaying possibilities, the ability this heritage gives you is also something you should keep in mind. You can use your teeth and your bite to make an unarmed attack, so your heritage provides you with a very useful weapon as well as boundless story potential.

The unarmed attack granted to you by your heritage deals 1d6 piercing damage and your jaws have both the finesse and unarmed traits.

If you ever need a last-resort way to save your hide, your natural weapon has you covered.

3 Irongut Goblin

Some goblins can survive in conditions other people would consider far from suitable. If you want to build a rogue, used to a hard life in the dark alleys of the world, this heritage could provide you with a nice flavor to start that journey. Moreover, you can use this heritage to your advantage for any character who might be an experienced survivalist, so you have a lot of options.

When playing as an irongut goblin, you can eat and drink things that others would consider almost impossible to consume. This makes every eventual situation where you have to scavenge for food much easier. Moreover, you can deal with sickness much easier than others. This ability gives you a bonus to your saving throws against the sickened condition, and every success you roll on a save automatically turns into a critical success.

2 Charhide Goblin

These goblins are famous for their connection to fire. If you want to play a trickster with a passion for explosives, or a mage with a talent for destructive fire-themed spells, you can use this heritage for both flavor and utility. Your thick skin and your love of fire also give you a lot of range when it comes to choosing where your goblin is from and they provide an interesting starting point for any backstory.

How much has the remaster shaken up the unshakeable Dwarves?

Whatever adventure you find yourself in, the probability for encountering fire damage somewhere along the way is very high. Being used to heat and being able to withstand burning will definitely come in handy in all of those situations. As a charhide goblin, you gain some fire resistance, and you are able to shrug off flames much quicker.

Charhide goblins gain fire resistance equal to half their level, and your save DC against persistent fire damage is ten, rather than 15.

1 Unbreakable Goblin

Strong and durable, these goblins have simple, but very useful gifts. They are likely to become skilled warriors, thanks to their talents, muscles, and strong bones. However, a heritage like this one also gives you a lot of freedom when picking a class. You don’t have to be a warrior of any kind, but if you want your character to feel stronger and more physically imposing, then the unbreakable goblin is the one for you.

Your strong bones and your sturdy build may come in handy should you have to take fall damage, as you are able to fall from greater heights than all other goblins. Also, unbreakable goblins can take a few more hits than their brethren, so your ancestry grants you ten Hit Points to work with from the start. The abilities at your disposal are guaranteed to be useful, and the flavor of your heritage can be applied to a lot of different characters, granting you a perfect combination of utility and freedom.
