The Cross Season 1 Star Addresses Whether or Not the Show Is Adapting a Special Alex Cross Book

No. It is based on the foundation of Alex Cross, but Ben [Watkins] he takes the bone structure of that world and fills it with a beautiful story.

We will treat the season as a book with a main storyline. But there are other stories that define the characters' journeys.

The show maintains the unexpected

Hodge's confirmation of the show's story means this will be the first adaptation of the Patterson series not based on an existing novel.
