“You're not shocked that River is alive because you've seen her,” Lamb says after he theorizes that the dead man in David's bathroom is an impostor. As Standish does a double take, Lamb shrugs her shoulder and indicates that she saw River's car parked outside. Unable to lie anymore, Standish admits that River stopped by but is now gone. Meanwhile, David is fast asleep in Standish's bedroom. Lamb walks in to ask David Cartwright more about what happened between him and River, but Slow horses saving the conversation for episode 2.
