Andrew Garfield discusses his potential return as Eduardo Social network 2. Garfield played Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saver in the 2010 film Social network. Social network directed by David Fincher, written by Aaron Sorkin. In addition to Garfield, the film featured a leading cast including Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Rooney Mara, Armie Hammer, Dustin Fitzsimmons, and Joseph Mazzello. It was nominated for several Oscars, winning three times, including Best Adapted Screenplay for Sorkin.

What Garfield's Answer Means for Social Networking 2
The Social Network 2 Will Have a Different Character Focus than the First Movie
Garfield's quote comes nearly a year after the original director teased Fincher Social network 2. The director said that he and Sorkin “they talked about the movie,” shows its potential. They didn't claim it Social network 2 actively participated in its development. Since then, Sorkin has confirmed that he is working on a script for a sequel of some sort in April 2024. Social network. At the time, Sorkin did not confirm the exact course of the film or what specifically its plot would involve.
Because Social network 2 plot has yet to be revealed, leaving open the option of the sequel featuring various characters from the original film. This includes Eduardo, who may appear in a later film. Garfield is probably right, it doesn't make sense for this character to appear because he's not that active on Facebook anymore. Instead, Social network 2 likely to focus more on Zuckerberg or Facebook in general.

When Sorkin confirmed his development Social network earlier this year he noted that “to blame[s] Facebook for January 6.” He implied that the film would explore the darker implications of Facebook in a world of political thrillers Civil warI think it would be interesting to use a Facebook-oriented film to tell a political story. It's something the first film didn't quite manage, but it's ripe for a film nonetheless Social network continuation.
