New trailer for Squid Game Season 2 proves me completely wrong about what I thought would be the next installment of Netflix's hit show. Squid Game Season 2 has since been one of the most anticipated shows in years Squid Game Season 1 has become one of the best shows on Netflix in 2021. Fans of the Korean-language drama have been waiting for years to see how Seong Gi-hun's story unfolds and how the sadistic games continue. while Squid Game season 2 will answer these questions, and the answers may not be what any of us think.

After winning and spending a year on the streets, Gi-hun turned his life around and prepared to visit his daughter in Los Angeles. Then, before boarding the plane, Frontman tells him to leave and Gi-hun turns back. It seemed like a great setup for Squid Game Season 2 will be a revenge story of sorts, but a new trailer has subverted the script.
The Squid Game Season 2 Trailer Is Totally Different From What I Expected
To be honest, I was quite surprised by the latest trailer Squid Game season 2. ending instead of being a revenge story Squid Game season 1 has been set up, it looks like next season will be something else entirely. Seong Gi-hun doesn't seem to be in control, and it looks like he'll be an unwilling participant in the new iteration of the games rather than an outsider trying to undo the games.. It's a complete change from what was set up and it totally blew me away.
Squid Game Turns The Story Set In Season 1 On Its Head
The new trailer makes me think that the show has completely flipped the script at the end Squid Game season 1. Instead of showing Gi-ho looking for and hunting down the people who run the games, Front Man surprised him openly in his apartment. Front Man was also trying to dissuade Gi-ho from returning to the games Squid Game season 1, but now he seems to have forced her back into them, and apparently he didn't expect Gi-hun to come back in his green jumpsuit. It seems to me Squid Game Season 2 completely ignored its set-up.
This is probably the most remarkable and symbolic change Squid Game season 2 reversed Gi-hoon's red hair. Gi-hun is back to normal, albeit with shorter, darker hair, a sign that he's not as rebellious and angry as he was after winning the games. Squid Game Season 1 put a lot of emphasis on Gi-ho's hairstyle and reasons for choosing it, so I feel like it was really important for the show to reverse her decision. The change in Gi-hoon's hairstyle proves this Squid Game Season 2 could really take Gi-hun's story in any unexpected direction now.
I honestly don't know what Squid Game season 2 has in store, which is the kind of mystery the show needs.
Squid Game Season 2 may also confuse viewers with its new trailer. There are only a few snippets of Gi-hun's story so far, and it could very well be that it's all part of his revenge plan. Gi-hun can be purposely captured by the Frontman and his plan is to bring down the games from the inside.. Alternatively, it may not actually be Front Man in that mask, as it could just as easily be his police detective brother Hwang Jun-ho. I honestly don't know what happened Squid Game Season 2 is in the works, which is the kind of mystery the show needs.
Season 2's Surprises Could Help Outpace The Netflix Show's First Outing
If Squid Game Season 2 already has me so excited with a teaser trailer, I'm cautiously optimistic that it can be as good as season one. A great reason Squid Game Season 1 was an international hit because it was so unexpected. Everything about the show was a surprise, from the games themselves, from Red Light, Green Light and marbles to Player 1's true identity.. It worked perfectly together to make all these unexpected turns Squid Game Season 1 is absolutely riveting and deliciously intense, and it looks like season two is already taking the same approach.
The only way Squid Game Season 2 could live up to its predecessor, just as surprisingly, and the trailer suggests it will. If it doesn't even follow the installation Squid Game After season 1 ended, there's really no telling what's in store for Gi-hun. This could make the second season even more surprising and suspenseful, as a lot will be included Squid Game With a preconceived idea of what season 2 will be. Even if Squid Game Season 2 may not be more surprising than season one, but I still think it's already exciting.
