“There's more to go”

Agatha Along Showrunner Jac Schaeffer recently commented on the potential for Wanda Maximoff to appear on the series. With the confirmation that the teenager is actually her son Billy Maximoff, AKA Wiccan, it's looking more and more inevitable that Scarlet Witch could return to the MCU. In an interview with Deadline, Schaeffer attributed the fan's loss of Wanda's appearance to Elizabeth Olsen's performance, saying, “She is so beautiful that everyone loves her as much as she loves him. I mean, that's how I feel about him, and so it's really cool to shout for him.“

Schaeffer also created WandaVisionthis was the first time Olsen's Wanda was cast as the lead in an MCU project. He's been a fan favorite for years now, but Schaeffer's intriguing and tragic story helped solidify a legion of Scarlet Witch fans. Nevertheless, the writer attributes the series' success to Olsen, as he says.so unusual and so brilliant.”

As far as whether or not Wanda will be Agatha AlongSchaeffer was decidedly more cryptic, saying that “our players are on the board and we travel with these people.“He made this show doubly so”Agatha's story.“But he mocked that too Agatha Along does “also very Billy story“and he”there's more to go.“

Although it has not been confirmed that Wanda will return Agatha Along or any other MCU project at this point, Schaeffer's comments are vague enough to be questionable. Wanda and Billy's stories are intertwined like mother and sontherefore, her inclusion in the series would be a natural way to bring back Olsen. He may properly resurrect, or perhaps appear in a vision or flashback.

Alternatively, Agatha Along already created a reason for Wanda not to be in Billy's story. The sigil placed on William Kaplan prevented him from being recognized by any witches – potentially including his mother. Much to Wanda's multifaceted anger, she wanted her sons back and tragically was unaware that one of them had taken William Kaplan's body.

Schaeffer's off-the-cuff comments could be a revelation about Wanda in the show's future, or the series' insistence that it's all about Agatha could be entirely true.

Agatha Along It has created such a colorful cast of characters, and Wiccan is a notable addition. Expanding her story to include Scarlet Witch would be epic, but she's interesting enough on her own. It would be a pleasant surprise if Schaeffer is hiding Wanda's appearance.

However, Billy's journey to find his brother Tommy is compelling and could continue his character arc. Likewise, His dynamic with Agatha is interesting and worth tuning in to even without Wanda. Schaeffer also hinted that we've met all of the major players in this story, and cast doubt on whether we'll ever see the Scarlet Witch. In any case, with the end of the season Agatha Along He promises to escape the Way of the Witches.
