These Musicians Registered the Most Voters on Their Tours, Data Shows

Data from HeadCount (via DiversityIt shows “Espresso” singer Sabrina Carpenter engaged more people through the platform in 2024 than any other artist, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to register young voters.

Carpenter registered more than 27,000 new voters and engaged more than 183,000 voters through in-person appearances, video boards and raffles, as well as the Short n' Sweet tour, which sold out 33 arenas in North America. A contest offered fans a chance to win “Short and Sweet” tickets by checking their voter registration status. The winners will fly to San Francisco on November 9 for an all-expenses-paid getaway to see Carpenter perform.

“We couldn't be more excited to continue our partnership with Sabrina!” said HeadCount CEO Lucille Wenegieme. “Youth voter turnout is more important than ever in this election, where the race could be down to a few hundred thousand votes, and there are few people as influential as Sabrina who can spread that message through these sweepstakes and her tour.”

HeadCount also confirmed that Green Day broke the organization's record for most voter turnout in a single round. The group registered more than 7,900 new voters and engaged with more than 61,000 voters during the Saviors Tour. Green Day's record doubles the record set by Ariana Grande on her 2019 Sweetener World Tour.

HeadCount has registered more than 1.5 million voters since 2004 through partnerships with popular artists. The organization registered 450,000 new voters in 2024. More than 80 percent of the voters HeadCount recorded this year are Millennials, or Gen Z.
