Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO Auto Titanium watch appeared on both Principle And Martian and remains one of Hamilton’s best products. But until now, the watch—with its 46mm titanium case—was only available in stealthy black. The new yellow version is specifically designed to suit deep-sea exploration. That’s because it has to do with the way light waves are refracted by water, but all you need to know is that yellow, combined with high-contrast markers, is one of the most common colors in coastal waters. What makes things even cooler is that the watch is water-resistant to 1,000 meters, and if the pressure exceeds safety limits, a valve opens to release excess pressure to protect the internal mechanisms.
Yellow can be seen on the watch’s rubber strap and lugs, and it also carries a bit of a fun Beatles reference, as the watch is inspired by deep-sea adventure and when paired with its 46mm brushed titanium case, yes, it does look a lot like a yellow submarine.
The watch itself is powered by an automatic movement and has an 80-hour power reserve. Its dial is grey with white and yellow second/minute markers. It is 15.7mm thick and is known for its lightweight feel.
Like most Hamilton watches, the Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO Auto Titanium comes with a surprisingly reasonable price tag: $1,745.
