Vacuuming is a chore, but not everyone wants a robot vacuum cleaner banging on their furniture all day. The next best thing is to get a cordless vacuum cleaner that will make you feel better. request To clean like the new Shark Cordless PowerDetect Cleaning and Draining System. This lightweight yet powerful vacuum cleaner with smart features may make you excited to use it. It's the perfect choice for keeping your home free of debris and also transforms into a compact handheld device for cleaning your car; so you can say goodbye to buying a separate dust collector for tasks outside the home.
The biggest feature of Shark PowerDetect is how quick and easy it makes your weekly cleaning routine. The DuoClean Detect head unlocks detection mode, which automatically detects different floor types, areas with increased dirt and corners/wall edges and adjusts suction accordingly. With detection mode enabled, you won't have to mess around with different settings while trying to vacuum.

Sensing mode also turns on the built-in LED light if you're vacuuming in a darker location, like under furniture or in a closet. This light behaves similarly to other cordless vacuum cleaners with lasers on the market; It illuminates dirt invisible to the naked eye and shows you how dirty your floors really are. This feature is a little gross, but it honestly made me want to vacuum more often when I realized how much dog hair I had on my floors.
I found the detection mode to work quite smoothly. The vacuum steadily increased its suction power as I moved from hardwood floors to carpets, and as I approached the baseboards, I could tell that the suction increased to pull as much debris as possible from the edges rather than pushing the crumbs further in. corners. Essentially, the sensing mode ensures that you don't have to turn the vacuum cleaner into a handheld device to clean the corners and edges of your flooring. The only downside to detecting the mode was that it was almost too strong for some of the thin carpets in my home. The more manual Eco mode was better suited to the thin carpets in my home.

The cordless PowerDetect's suction power means business. Although Shark doesn't specifically state what this vacuum's suction power is measured at, it did a great job of sucking up stubborn dog hair, dust and crumbs, and food debris during testing. I love how it absorbs debris on both forward and reverse passes across the floor; essentially halving the time it takes to thoroughly clean an area compared to traditional vacuum cleaners, which have a harder time with larger debris when pulled backwards.
This vacuum cleaner comes with a self-draining dock that not only automatically empties the vacuum canister but also serves as a charging station and storage. The cordless PowerDetect vacuum cleaner has a fairly small chamber (making it super lightweight and easy to maneuver), but that smaller volume means it fills up faster. Instead of constantly stopping to empty (and getting dust everywhere), the self-emptying dock empties the vacuum every time you dock it. The vacuum cleaner has about 70 minutes of battery life on a single charge, but since the dock acts as a charger, it's almost always fully charged and ready to use.
The dock has a two-quart capacity, and Shark says it's large enough to hold crumbs, dust and pet hair for up to 45 days in most homes. This means that even with regular use you will only need to empty the vacuum cleaner once every month and a half. You won't have to worry about possible odors coming from the dock either; We left debris on the dock for about a month during testing, and the built-in odor neutralizer ensured nothing smelled in the house.
The Shark Cordless PowerDetect system is a beast in the house, but it also does a great job of cleaning your car. Sure, you can use the free vacuum cleaners at the car wash, which will leave you with half the initial crumbs, but why use that when your home vacuum cleaner doubles as a handheld car cleaner?
The lightweight, small can size of this vacuum cleaner makes it the ideal picture for vacuuming your car. It's easy to hold with one hand, and your wrist won't get tired if you have a large SUV that needs cleaning. Compared to my personal Dyson Outsize vacuum cleaner, the Shark Cordless PowerDetect is much easier to use as a car cleaner because it is much lighter. Although it may hold less debris in the case than the Dyson, the self-draining dock basically takes care of this problem for you as it empties itself after each use. I vacuumed my entire apartment and car one after another and still haven't filled the box (and I have two very shaggy dogs).
The included Duster Crevice Tool does a great job of getting into hard-to-reach spots like under the seats in your car. It's long enough to get into all the cracks and crevices in the car and small enough to be used in tight places like cup holders and storage areas throughout the vehicle.

The other tool that comes with the box is your pet multi-tool; This tool works well to remove pet hair, dirt, and other contaminants from your car seats. The brush allows you to brush loose stubborn debris, and the powerful suction power of the vacuum cleaner removes them. Vacuuming my entire Toyota 4Runner using the Shark Cordless PowerDetect took less than 10 minutes, and unlike car wash vacuums, I didn't have to go over everything twice.
The Shark Wireless PowerDetect Cleaning and Draining System is a gem for people who don't have a lot of time (or desire) to clean all the time. Powerful suction power and two-way suction get things clean quickly, while the self-draining dock lets you empty the vacuum cleaner from your hands. It's the best cleaning companion for both your home and your car, and best of all, the Clean and Drain System will only set you back $500. This price point is a great deal when compared to other similar vacuum cleaners on the market that don't have all the smart features and self-draining dock that this Shark model has.
