This raises the stakes further when the question of what might happen if Kokoro and Skynet are chosen to partner.

As Kokoro floats around the room during her conversation with Malcolm, the animation is suitably fluid, and while she presents herself with human-like features, Production IG wisely backs away from showing Kokoro taking full human form to tie into the incomplete nature of the system. .
The English Voice Actors are Very Low Energy and the Ending leaves a lot unresolved

Ultimately, while the show as a whole is a promising new direction for the franchise, there are a few downsides, including the performances of the anime's English voice cast. That's not to say the roster isn't full of talented performers, including Timothy Olyphant as the Terminator, André Holland as Malcolm, Sonoya Mizuno as Eiko, and Rosario Dawson as Kokoro. The problem lies in the general direction given to their performances, especially Holland and Mizuno, who rarely feel like they're delivering the energy level appropriate to the situations their characters are involved in.
Given this trend of unanswered questions, it would be nice to see Tomlin develop a more conclusive story.
Then there is Terminator zero's end, as it left a number of questions unanswered, left some to the finale. As studios want to revive the franchise with various reboots Terminator saw many plot threads unresolved with the franchise Genisys was one of the more infamous as it was intended to start a trilogy before being canceled after underperforming. Given this trend of unanswered questions, it would be nice to see Tomlin develop a more conclusive story.
That said, it doesn't completely ruin a fun ride Terminator zero does.
