TikTok Star Arrested in Connection with Therapist Murder

TikTok personality Terryon Ishmael Thomas, known on the platform as “Mr. Prada,” has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Louisiana therapist.

Thomas, 20, was arrested in Dallas on Oct. 1 on charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, according to WVUE. Suspicion arose after the body of prominent Baton Rouge therapist William Nicholas “Nick” Abraham, 69, was found wrapped in a tarp and thrown in a roadside ditch on Sept. 29.

Security footage from a store outside the city captured Thomas, who is believed to be the last person seen driving Abraham's car. When police attempted to stop the stolen vehicle in Baton Rouge on September 30, the driver reportedly fled the scene in the police car; The officer then gave the driver Thomas' name next in line.

While investigators are still trying to determine exactly where Ibrahim's murder occurred, they have not found any evidence of a crime at the former Catholic priest's home. According to Tangipahoa Parish officials, Ibrahim died a “very physical, very violent death” due to blunt force trauma to his head, neck and shoulders.

Abraham's attorney, Jarrett Ambeau, was shocked by the horrific nature of the therapist's death.

“I am absolutely devastated and completely shocked that something like this could have happened to a man who I believed to have such a sensitive, such a gentle, servant-like heart,” Ambeau said.

Thomas will face a judge in Texas for an extradition hearing to determine whether he should be transferred to Louisiana for his charges in Baton Rouge.
