It still exists today some strange references and the last category is difficult because of how they represent words. However, there's no reason you can't fail this puzzle, so you can rest easy knowing all of our tips you need.

- A category is not bound by time, but contiguous to time
- One category is hypothetical
- A category is about something you might find in the checkout line
- One category is about names, but nothing

There are many tenses that can be related to but perhaps the two biggest clues are Snooze and TIME SET. SLEEP is a possibility, but less so than others on this list. ALARM and HOUR are a bit more generic, and since many people use phones as alarms now, they can be a bit tricky to get right.

WHOPPER makes sense and can be used alone when KISS follows the brand name, but NERD and RUNT are almost never used alone and it threw me for a loop. Fortunately, it wasn't a long cycle, but I wasn't sure why these were grouped together until I saw the category name. I will say that I crave Nerds candy, especially gummy groups it's totally addictive.

It turns out that the classic Seven Dwarfs is quite difficult to recognize without the last letter. The other three have meanings other than names, especially when SLEEP can be described easily enough with ALARM. Now it's easier to see how they go together, but I was a little confused going into it. I could have sworn DO-C had another name, but I'd probably be crazy, so that's something.
