If you're stuck trying to figure out what the different categories might be, we've got some hints to help you try to solve the puzzle without any spoilers. There are some interesting red herrings and some confusing words in this puzzle.
- A category is just about being the common denominator
- One category will favor Americans
- One of the categories is related to what comes to your feet
- One category is about movement
The last (purple) category is a bit odd these days. This is not the definition for it technically wrong, but I see a problem with it. However, if you just need the category names, we list them below.

This category was probably the easiest. If you already know what the next category is, OK is a bit of a red herring, and SO-SO creates a false category by confusing it with all the other hyphenated words. However, Seeing OK with AVERAGE told me that it probably doesn't match with other two-letter words. I I figured this out quickly enough because I thought the hyphenated words were an editor's trick.

For a short while I thought the next category was socks as opposed to boots, so I thought HI had a chance to be in that category. However, this the category was actually a combination of two-letter wordsand it wasn't a trick like I thought. Be that as it may, I saved these words for last and didn't want to waste my guesses until I found others.

Although I believed for a while that it was related to socks, I seconded this category. Apparently, many boots and socks share similar names. COWBOY and GO-GO put me off for a while, but I figured it out There was nothing else to do with feet, shoes or socks (except maybe Tide as a detergent), it became easier to understand that they probably go together.

I have problems with the wording of the category and the inclusion of SUN and TIDE, even though I have solved this puzzle and understand that these words all have something to do with orbit. The SUN only appears to go up and down and does not appear on the same side every day when we look at it. And TIDE goes in and out, not up and down. YO-YO and ELEVATOR have the most in common and should be in this category, but the wording should be slightly different. I insist.
