CAKE |
COAT |
plaster |
SMEAR |
Personally, I feel that all these words are more different than the category suggests. I don't plaster my wall like I frost a cake. Even then, I wouldn't CAKE the makeup like SMEARING the eyeliner. It's just not the same. However, they have a similar vibe covers something elseand while I'm skeptical about it, I can see why they all fall into that category.

BALLOON |
BASKETBALL |
FLOATIE |
TIRE |
I think it was TIR, oddly enough, that turned me away from this category of scents. I stuck with it being a tire and not an inflatable. I think if I thought of it more like bicycle tires, I would see the connection with FLOATIE and BALLOON. BASKETBALL is also an interesting part of it, maybe because of that sports balls and tires are not inflated as often as the other two.

BUBBLE |
BAR |
LINE |
PIE |
I absolutely suck for a good chart and I grew up I make all kinds of charts to diagram different stories in my elementary reading class. In fact, I got so detailed about these BUBBLE and LINE charts that my teacher had to tell me to stop.
We didn't make that many BAR and PIE charts, but given my tendency to overdo it, this is probably for the best. At least it has paid off now with my work as a writer and has helped me get multiple graduate degrees.

TYPES OF CLASSIC COCKTAILS |

---|---|---|---|
FIZZ |
PUNCH |
SLING |
SOUR |
Oops, my absence trendy drink knowledge struck again because I couldn't figure out what the fourth word was. I had a pretty strong idea that FIZZ, PUNCH, and SOUR went together, but the last one was harder to find. Maybe I should pay more attention to the cocktail menus from now on, since that seems to be a running theme in these puzzles now.
