MONKEY BARS |

TATARCHI |
It was a little difficult because TETHERBALL it is often playground equipment and I was actually in the playground where I spent most of my childhood. It makes it hard to understand that it doesn't belong here, and I've tried hard to separate it from the rest of the words.
It's hard because it takes away your wiggle room to get it right, and you have to look at every word instead of assuming one is more appropriate than the others.

PENDULUM |
TEA GARDEN |
TETERBALL |
YO-YO |
Instead, TETHERBALL actually falls into this category anything that hangs at the end of a string. Personally, I think PENDULUMS are more common than metal, but I'll take it. What surprised me in this category was the TEA GARDEN because it doesn't have the back and forth action that the others do. I was pretty sure that TEETER-TOTTER was what the rest of those words were and not TEA BAG.

---|---|---|---|
DESERT |
HUMOR |
MARTINI |
TEETOTALS |
The fact that two of these are related to alcohol can be a source of confusion, but luckily having them in the same category should stop some of that confusion. But as HUMOR and DESERT join the other two “dry things” may be a more difficult line of thought to follow. Putting the words in the next category together is also a bit difficult, but if you can do it the first time, these words are best saved for last.

BLUE |
BOOMER |
STEPS |
TOOTH |
This can also be difficult to put together, but it seems a little simpler than the previous category. Maybe BLUE, STEPS and TEETH all can be related to babies without words in front of him.
This might make it easier to lump the three together, but it might be harder to figure out that BOOMER is in the same category. I think it's a little easier given the amount of generational talk that's often thrown around.
