Sometimes luck is not your friend when it comes down to it Connections puzzle, but you have to finish solving it to counter that we have clues. Sometimes it takes a village, and maybe having a friend work alongside you can help you solve the puzzle each day. However, if none of your friends are interested, we are still here to be your friend and help you solve this puzzle.
Another game to test your luck is NYT Tile the game. This game is all about pattern recognition as it is required of you solve the puzzle two tiles at a time. However, these two tiles must be connected to another tile to continue a strip, so you need to focus on more than one pattern.

HUGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY |

---|---|---|---|
BUNDLE |
FORTUNE |
MINT |
XAVAG |
I tackled this category last, which kind of explains it. FORTUNE and MINT only suggests the idea of moneyin my opinion, BUNDLE and PILE can refer to anything in large quantities. To me, the two feel very separate, and it felt strange that it was an easy category today. Still, at least I was able to solve the puzzle that mattered at the end of the day.

PIECES OF WISDOM |

---|---|---|---|
KERNEL |
NUGGET |
Pearl |
TIDBIT |
This category felt like the easiest category today as words felt more connected and related than others. It helps that I use a lot of these in conversation because I love a good TIDBIT and they are often fun things to share with others. These words are similar enough that this should have been a yellow category.
Blue Answers: Revealed and Explained
CELEBRATED IN JURASSIC PARK |

---|---|---|---|
AMBER |
DINOSAUR |
Mosquito |
PALEONTOLOGIST |
It felt easier, too, because it all ties in with the concept of DINOSAURS at this point in cultural history. Probably because movie Jurassic park refers specifically to the category. Even if these things aren't true of life, the idea of TREE and AMBER being folded into paleontology is therefore intuitive. It helps that I play a lot Lego Jurassic Park the game.
Purple Answers: Revealed and Explained
THINGS THAT ARE PURPLE |

---|---|---|---|
AMETHYST |
eggplant |
GRIMACE |
LAVENDER |
It was clear to me that AMETHYST and LAVENDER went together and I then considered my remaining options. The eggplant was also purple. The last one was a bit more difficult to find and it turned into more of a guess which led me to GRIMACE.
When I checked my phone, that emoji wasn't purple and the expression wasn't associated with the word, so a quick Google search later led me to one of the old McDonald's mascots, the stuff of nightmares indeed. Thank you for that, Connectionsbest forgotten to evoke childhood trauma.

If you're like me, you needed to get over the trauma, maybe there's a different, more relaxing puzzle for the two of us. I suggest Worldlesimply because it has nothing to do with scary purple monsters.
