Tom Hanks, 68, thinks he's “in better shape now” than when he was in his 30s. In your new movie HereHanks and Robin Wright play a couple in their 20s into old age with the help of anti-aging technology. When asked about his favorite age to return to during production, Hanks instead said his least favorite age, both in real life and in the movie.
“I am 68 years old. The hardest time for us was the period when we played at 35. That's when your metabolism stops, gravity starts to break you down, your bones start to wear out. “You look different,” Hanks said Fun Tonight at the film's premiere. “I think I'm in better shape now.”
“Do you know why?” he continued. “Now that my children are grown, I get good exercise and can eat right. You can't do that at 35. Life is such a big burden!”
When the host tells Hanks that “everyone needs to get on board right now.” Forrest Gump Star said he tries to live as healthily as he can while struggling with age and type 2 diabetes. “Just taking care of the temple baby, that's all I'm trying to do,” Hanks added.

Hanks also made similar statements People at the premiere. “The much more difficult part emotionally, both physically and spiritually, is when Richard and Margaret were 35 and 42; The aging process is just starting to set in and you can no longer get off the couch. And you haven't gotten to a place yet where life has completely slowed down.”
The film's director, Robert Zemeckis, spoke recently Hollywood Reporter About Hanks and Wright adjusting their performances to look younger after seeing preliminary footage of them in their 20s and 30s.
“They look at it and say, 'Oh, I should be a little more agile, I should move a little faster, I should raise my voice a little bit,'” Zemeckis said. “That was important for them to see.”
