Blue bloods is coming to an end, but there is still something to be included in the show.
in an interview with TV InsiderTom Selleck has revealed that there's a storyline he's always hoped to see. Selleck always wanted to see Frank flirt more. While she doesn't necessarily need to see a relationship, she would love to play a more flirtatious version of her famous character. Check out his full quote below:
Everyone says, “Well, that would be nice to see [Frank] has an attitude.” If I was sorry, he didn't get to flirt often enough because they didn't write the relationship. But it didn't fit our format… [As for his reporter friend,] yes, he was an old friend played by Margaret Coley, who I knew
Three Men and a Baby.
Frank is not dead! She still wears her wedding ring, but it's nothing more than needing someone and flirting with them. But we had the first three stories in each episode, and then we had four stories with Vanessa [Ray] became regular, so there is no room for it. I would have fun playing it, but you can't do it all.
