Tragedy in which a mother and her 2 children fell to their deaths in Niagara Falls

It was reported that a woman and her two children died by falling over the railings in Niagara Falls.

Accordingly Associated PressNew York State Police said the mother, 33-year-old Chianti Means from Niagara Falls, New York, climbed the safety rail with her 9-year-old and 5-month-old children. Authorities arrived at the scene around 9 p.m. on October 28 and concluded that the trio had crossed over the railroad tracks on Luna Island, located between American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.

“The investigation determined that this incident was intentional, but the circumstances remain under investigation,” state police said in a statement.

Police used drones and underwater units to track down missing people. Authorities announced on October 30 that search and rescue efforts were unsuccessful.

Posts on Means' Facebook page emerged following his death, giving a glimpse into his mindset in the weeks leading up to the incident. Accordingly Uniladshe posted many messages about having a troubled relationship with the father of her children, who apparently abandoned her.

The investigation into the incident continues.
