Games Workshop will be offering another look at its upcoming line of Warhammer video games next Thursday, when Warhammer Skulls returns with new previews of titles including Space Marine 2, Boltgun and Total War: Warhammer.
Warhammer Skulls has been running for a few years now as a showcase for video games based on Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar and other Games Workshop tabletop titles.
This year, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is taking center stage, and the sequel to the Gears of Warhammer third-person shooter is expected to have some new announcements during the stream (perhaps the recently leaked multiplayer PvP mode will be included).
Also headlining this year's Skulls lineup is Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, last year's gory first-person shooter steeped in the retro flavor and frenetic pace of '90s shooters like Doom and Wolfenstein.
Hosting the show for a second year will be Rahul Kohli, the charismatic Haunting of Bly Manor actor known for his love of Warhammer and who voiced Boltgun's Malum Caedo.
Elsewhere, Games Workshop has teased news and announcements for a long list of Warhammer 40k video games, including Rogue Trader, Tactics, Battlesector, Warpforge and Darktide, along with reveals of the fantasy game Total War: Warhammer and Blood Bowl 3, the latest disappointing adaptation of the superb fantasy football game that is, at least in my opinion, the best thing GW has ever done.
Alongside Skulls’ Twitch stream, there will be a week-long sale of various Warhammer games on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, Xbox and more next Thursday 23rd May at 5pm BST/9am PST.
