There he studied neuroscience and graduated in 2022. After that, he went straight to medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine to get his MD, which he plans to graduate in 2026.
Coincidentally, Jack also announced that he wanted to be a doctor Blue bloods. Albert Einstein College of Medicine is located in the Bronx, New York, a short train ride away. Blue bloods filmed on location. So Terraciano might make a guest appearance once or twice a season, even if Terraciano were to consider another career, making sure Jack Reagan wasn't completely off the show.

Past Interviews Reveal The Actor Is Not Interested In Fame
Tony Terraciano still has “Professional Actor at CBS Television Studios” as his job title on LinkedIn.and everything on his page looks updated, including his campus profile picture, so leaving out the acting info seems like a deliberate choice. Terraciano hasn't said whether he plans to pursue an acting career, but getting an M.D. and working as a doctor isn't usually the kind of job that allows for a “second income” lifestyle.
Terraciano had a successful early acting career as an actor Blue bloodshowever, she wants to keep her options open by studying medicine. He also talked about not considering himself a star or having an interest in fame CBS News,
“Sometimes I'll be in a movie theater and someone will recognize me and my friends will be like that. I always forgot you were a movie star. I'm like, come on.”
A life with a career in medicine would allow Terraciano to be happy, employed, and enjoy life as just another everyday person, just like the Reagans try to protect in every episode of the movie. Blue bloods.
Jack's Departure Compared to Others Who Have Left the Show

Jack isn't the only character who has become less visible over time. Other regular cast members who left the series simply didn't see their episode count decrease. Instead, they left the show entirely. In some cases, their character was even killed off.
One of the earliest characters to leave the show was Jackie Curatola, played by Jennifer Esposito. Esposito needed a reduced schedule after being diagnosed with celiac disease. But instead of reducing her workload, the producers removed her from the show. Jackie was written in season 3 with the idea that her character was burned out by her detective work and change was needed. Esposito has since returned to the show for guest spots.
Amy Carlson, who played Linda Reagan in the series, went from a recurring character in the early seasons of the show to a series regular in season 5. When her contract expired at the end of season 7, she chose not to renew her contract for season eight and beyond. Carlson's character was erased by death. Linda died in a helicopter crash while helping a patient between seasons 7 and 8, which meant the actress didn't even get to appear on screen to close out her time on the show.
Much of the main cast remained intact during the sequel Blue bloods. It's recurring characters that appear for long episodes without ever appearing again. It's not unusual in something like a police station, where it's easy to explain that two police officers don't work the same jobs or even work different shifts. This is not particularly noticeable to those close to the Reagan family.
