WWE Legend Sid Vicious Dies at 63

Sid Eudy, known to wrestling fans as Sid Vicious and Sycho Sid, died at the age of 63 after battling cancer for years.

Vicious' son, Gunnar Eudy, announced the news of his death in a message he shared on Facebook.

“It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my father, Sid Eudy, after a several-year battle with cancer. He was a strong, kind, and loving man whose presence will be greatly missed,” she wrote. “We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss.”

Vicious came to prominence as part of the World Wrestling Federation, both in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He is a six-time world champion, holding two WWF Championship titles, two WCW World Heavyweight Championship titles, and two USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship titles.

During his time in the ring, he engaged in brutal feuds with other wrestling icons such as Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, and Sting. He fought his final match for Great North Wrestling against Paul Rosenberg in August 2017.

Vicious is survived by his sons Gunnar and Frank, and his wife Sabrina Paige.
