Dazzler Gets Another Great New Design Across The Pond

Considering the country has given the world so much iconic music, it makes perfect sense to make the retro superstar's first big stop in London, England.

Alison Blaire's new super suit is dripping with British iconography without being too on the nose. The cover highlights the fact that this is a story for the English philosophers in the audience, as Blaire will be crossing the Pond for the second stop on her world tour. Of course, it can't be that simple, and it's going to be a challenge during a live studio session. Who will be his last enemy remains a mystery, but according to Marvel, his entourage of Strong Guy and Domino will be the focus of the second issue.


It makes perfect sense to make the retro style superstar's first stop in London, England. given that the country gave the world so much iconic music, especially between the 1960s and 1980s, it totally justified putting an entire issue in the area. Given that the city of London experienced a historic boom in the 1960s and 1970s, the Dazzler is sure to turn heads and win favor with the British for its Union Jack look.

From context clues, Dazzler embarks on his first US solo release before heading to London for his second release. Where it goes from there is anyone's guess, but exploring the various music capitals of the world would be a fun touch.

Time will tell who will be the villain of the run. Marvel kept this information under wraps, focusing on Dazzler and what she represents to mutants around the world. Dazzler is not just a pop star. In a world removed from mutants, he performs in front of an audience. He is a beacon of advocacy and equality. This is sure to annoy some, and a new villain to the Marvel Universe is out of the question. But one thing is certain: no one can be bored X-Men hero Dazzler's glow.
