'Yellowstone' Director Reveals Strict Anti-Spoiler Protocols

Second half of the last season Saritas It's just days away from its premiere and the team behind the popular Western drama are revealing how everything was put together in strict secrecy to prevent any information from getting out during production.

Christina Voros, who directed some of the series as well as some of its episodes Saritas spin off 1883spoke Hollywood Reporter about keeping story details secret while filming the show's final season.

“Everything came from preserving what was [show creator] Taylor [Sheridan] “This cast and family of creators has been formed over the years and knowing how much expectation there is for these scripts,” Voros said. “The energy around it was less about something secret and more about preserving it for the audience, and we went to very, very long distances,” Voros said. “We didn't have a script coordinator; I took on that role and did the proofreading for each actor. Most of the cast only got the scenes they were in. So , most of the cast, even some of our seven-year veterans, will find out what's coming when the series premieres.”

Voros said he was impressed by the level of privacy of team members working on Marvel projects. The team “likened this to COVID protocols” but noted that it wasn't because they didn't trust anyone working on the show.

“It was never out of fear that anyone in the family wouldn't protect the story. It was more like, if you know something, you might accidentally mention it. We were just protecting the cast and crew from even having that information, so they didn't have to worry about whether they were keeping things secret.” he explained.

“We had very, very closed sets. We treated every scene as if it were a truly closed set, so you had the same protocols as if there was nudity on set, where it was just the key personnel at the monitors,” she continued. “Actually, we wouldn't be conducting the dialogue. [in blocking rehearsals]. Players would move around the field and land on their marks. But they weren't actually speaking the dialogue, and only people on the closed set could see the scenes. So, it was more of a cloak and dagger… Everything served to preserve the story for the audience.”

Season 5B Saritas It premieres on Paramount Network on November 10 and reaches its grand finale on December 15.
