A blimp promoting a local football team in Brazil crashed on September 25, landing in a residential neighborhood. The entire incident was captured on a harrowing video.

It was stated that the only person injured in the accident was the pilot, who was rescued from the wreckage and taken to the hospital. In a statement, the football club explained what caused the accident.
“São Paulo FC regrets the incident that occurred with the airship chartered by the Brazilian Industrial and Private Air Services Airship. The company had provided the same service to the Club for the Copa do Brasil final in 2023 without any problems.” the team told.
The statement said, “The aircraft was subjected to a test this morning in preparation for the night flight previously planned by ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) to the stadium area.” Fortunately, it did not result in a Hindenburg-like disaster.
“The club reports that fortunately there were no serious injuries and it is providing all necessary support to the crew and others involved.”
Ultimately, bad luck also affected São Paulo FC, as the team lost to Botafogo in a penalty shoot-out.
