Kuhl's Renegade Recon Pants are now on sale for $74 — 25% off the regular price of $99. These top-rated pants have earned 75 five-star ratings from REI shoppers, but the sale is currently making them a popular choice, earning them the No. 1 best-selling hiking pants on the site. They're on sale in six neutral colors and are available in waist sizes 28 to 42 and in leg lengths 30, 32, or 34 through September 2.

These Kuhl hiking trousers are ultra-technical, made from a lightweight fabric that is stretchy yet stretchy, offers UPF 50+ sun protection, is abrasion resistant and dries quickly. They’re also designed with a gusseted crotch for front-to-back comfort, an elasticated waistband (with belt loops) and a total of seven pockets, including a secure zip pocket on the right side. Despite their extreme utility and durability, they still look like regular khaki trousers, meaning they’re just as suitable for everyday life as they are for the mountains.
